Hello / bonjour!

I’m Frank and I’m a bit of a slashie: Software Engineer / Photographer / Multilingual / Aspiring Barista balabala…. I graduated from Hunan University with a degree in Electrical Engineering . Oh, and in case it wasn’t obvious, I’m perpetually curious and powered by boundless motivation.

Why did I build this website? Good question! Mainly to share my thoughts and adventures in IT and AI, show off my photos, and document my heroic (and occasionally hilarious) journey learning French. Basically, it’s a digital playground for all my passions.

Let’s dive deeper into who I am.

– Software Engineer : I am a software engineer with experience as a full-stack engineering intern at Expedia, where I gained valuable skills that I applied in building this website. Additionally, I developed an iOS app for tracking my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training. I also have foundational knowledge and some hands-on experience with hardware, particularly with STM32 and Arduino.

– Photography: I love taking photos in my spare time. There’s nothing better than capturing a great shot. While my current work focuses on urban and landscape photography, I’m also interested in exploring portrait photography.

– Multilingual:

Chinese: Native speaker level.
Cantonese: One of my favorite languages, also at a native speaker level.
English: Proficient?(probably)
French: Currently learning and striving to master.
